In the Fall of 2024,  construction began on 25 Units of Permanent Supportive Housing for People with Disabilities. Each apartment has its own kitchen, bathroom, living space, community outdoor patio area, building laundry room, secure building entry and on-site parking, on-site support services from Sertoma Star Services.

Sertoma Star Services is a staple within Chicago’s South Suburban communities. Their mission is to empower individuals with disabilities and those living with mental illness to achieve personal success by providing choices and opportunities.

This multi-family residence will allow adults with disabilities to live independently while receiving personal support through our programs. Residents may receive social support and counseling, job training and placement, and assistance with grocery shopping and bill management.
